Enjoy free admission every day to Jamestown Settlement & the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown

We wouldn’t be who we are without the support of our local Virginia community. To show appreciation for our neighbors and to honor our commitment to the area, local residents receive free admission to Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown with proof of residency.

Who is eligible?

• Residents of James City County, York County and the City of Williamsburg
• Qualifying Zip Codes: 23185,  23187,  23188,  23089,  23090,  23127,  23168,  23690,  23691,  23692,  23693,  23694,  23696,  23665
• William & Mary students (with current student ID card)

What do you need to bring?

Bring proof of residency to the visitor services desks at each museum. Each guest must show their own personal proof of local residence.

Examples of proof of residency:

• Valid Virginia driver’s license
• Digital copies of current utility bills
• William & Mary current student ID card
• If you are active military and your driver’s license is from your home state, bring your military ID card and proof of local residence

What is included?

• Access to our interactive exhibits including 180-degree theaters, life-size re-creations, outdoor experiences and more
• Access to daytime special events and special exhibitions offered throughout the year. Separate ticketed programs do not qualify for free admission.

General admission to Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown is $30.00 for adults and $15.00 for ages 6-12.
