Family Frights

Costumed characters gathered in a James Fort building for Family Frights

As the sun goes down, the outdoor areas transform into Halloween themes offering a night of trick-or-treating, creepy crafts, festive music, decorated houses and spooky ships.

Separate evening sessions - Friday and Saturday at 6-7:30 p.m. and 8-9:30 p.m.

Admission is $10 per child (ages 4-12), $5 per adult and free for children ages 3 and under. Each party must include at least one adult over age 18.

Tickets will be available online only. Tickets are not available on site or at the door. Annual passes and other discounts do not apply.

Parking
Please park in the main visitor parking lot at Jamestown Settlement.

Weather
Family Frights will be held as planned. Please arrive prepared for the forecasted weather conditions. Stay tuned to our social media channels and website for any additional updates.

Be on time and be patient
Guests are encouraged to be on time for their ticketed session and to allow time to move through the ticketing lines.

Mobility
The museum’s motorized scooters will not be available during this event, and guests are encouraged to bring their own if needed. Personal strollers and wheelchairs also are welcome.

Display ticket receipt at check-in
Ticketholders are asked to display their order confirmation on their mobile devices or bring a printed copy.

Respect ending times
After each 90-minute session, bells will sound to signal departure of guests. Guests are asked to be respectful of ending times to allow staff to clean and sanitize high-touch areas before the next group of guests arrive.

We rely on you and your family’s cooperation and support to follow event protocols to ensure that it’s a fun, spooky – and safe – event for everyone. Each party must include at least one adult over age 18.
