Mathews Legacy Society Luncheon • April 26, 2024 • American Revolution Museum at Yorktown

Honoring the legacy of Nick and Mary Mathews, The Mathews Legacy Society members and friends are invited to our annual Mathews Legacy Society Luncheon held in the Gerdelman Family Mezzanine at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, 12 to 1:30 p.m. During the luncheon, guests get the opportunity to hear from museum leadership. This year we will hear from JYF’s Senior Director of Museum Operations and Education, Dr. Mariruth Leftwich. Learn more about how you can leave a legacy with JYF.

Patron members of The 1607 Society are invited to celebrate the opening of Ruth E. Carter: Afrofuturism in Costume Design at Jamestown Settlement with a private behind the scenes tour with Ruth E. Carter on Saturday, May 11, 6-7 p.m. Space will be limited.

Carter is a two-time Academy Award-winning costume designer whose work has appeared in “Yellowstone,” “Roots,” “Black Panther,” and “Wakanda Forever.” Learn more about becoming a Patron donor to take advantage of this special opportunity.

Bon Voyage Susan Constant Cocktail Party • June 8, 2024 • Jamestown Settlement

Members of The 1607 Society and friends of the museums are invited to join us for a pier-side reception on Saturday, June 8, 5-7 p.m. at Jamestown Settlement to wish the Susan Constant bon voyage before it heads to the Mystic Seaport Museum for two years of restoration.
