Mathews Legacy Luncheon 2023

Honoring the legacy of Nick and Mary Mathews, The Mathews Legacy Society members and friends are invited to our annual Mathews Legacy Society Luncheon held in the Gerdelman Family Mezzanine at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, 12 to 1:30 p.m. During the luncheon, guests get the opportunity to hear from museum leadership. This year we will hear from JYF’s Senior Director of Museum Operations and Education, Dr. Mariruth Leftwich. Learn more about how you can leave a legacy with JYF.

Carter: Afrofuturism in Costume Design at Jamestown Settlement with a private behind the scenes tour with Ruth E. Carter on Saturday, May 11, 6-7 p.m. Space will be limited.

Carter is a two-time Academy Award-winning costume designer whose work has appeared in “Yellowstone,” “Roots,” “Black Panther,” and “Wakanda Forever.” Learn more about becoming a Patron donor to take advantage of this special opportunity.
