Colonial Parkway

Jamestown, Williamsburg and Yorktown form “Virginia’s Historic Triangle,” all linked by the scenic Colonial Parkway. You may reach each via interstates 95 and 64 and U.S. Route 17.

In 2023, the Federal Highway Administration and the National Parks Service began work to restore the 90-year-old Colonial Parkway infrastructure. Expect lane closures and detours intermittently on sections of the Colonial Parkway. The project is slated to last less than three years, ending in time for the celebration of the nation's 250th birthday in 2026. For information, visit the National Park Service website.
