Homeschool families have several options for learning about 17th-century life at Jamestown, America’s first permanent English settlement, and 18th-century colonial America and the Revolution. Students will love discovering the sights and sounds of the nation’s past, all while having fun!

Attend Homeschool Family Days

Homeschool students will love discovering the sights and sounds of early American history. Ticket includes admission to Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown. Learn more.

Visit anytime with Homeschool daily admission rate

Can’t visit during Homeschool Program Days? Our homeschool daily rates are for home educators and their students. Attend anytime and enjoy reduced homeschool rates. Tickets are available to purchase on site at each museum and valid for one visit per museum. Tickets are not available online. Homeschool daily rates are not valid during annual Homeschool Program Days. You must show valid homeschool identification at check in.

Book a group tour

Homeschool families can join together to create groups of 15 or more to book an educational tour. Whether guided or self-guided, learn more about these tours and programs.

  • To book a group tour, complete the reservation form or contact group reservations. Call (757) 253-4939 or email group.reservations@jyf.virginia.gov
  • Hands-on classroom programs and tours require advance reservations and are subject to availability.
  • A homeschool identification is needed for the special admission pricing, and there are several websites that will allow you to create an id card.
